Permanent Administrator role in Bristol city centre up to £21k

Your new company

Leading global provider of environment, health, risk and social consulting services is looking to appoint an administrator to their growing consultancy team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, but yet still growing company that deliver innovative solutions to their industrial clients across the globe.


Your new role

This is a permanent role offering £18k - £21k depending on experience and is a fusion of project administrator and PA skills - as both will be needed during the course of the role.

The role will be based fairly centrally walking distance from Temple Meads Train station.

Your role will be to provide proactive and professional administrative support to Consultants within the Bristol office and you will be joining large and versatile team.

This is a very busy and rewarding role with opportunities in the company to develop your skills. You will be providing general support as well as supporting separate projects as and when required.



What you'll need to succeed

Ideally we are looking for a good administrator who is confident and happy to work in an occasional client facing environment. You will be IT literate and able to use Excel - basic to intermediate level. You will have excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative in a proactive way.


Main duties will include the following:

* Assisting with the preparation of proposals
* Using internal system GMS as required to create project reports
* Using internal system Project Express to setup new projects and project extensions
* Arranging meetings, booking meeting rooms and ordering lunches
* Assisting the team with weekly timesheet entry

* Occasional email and diary management for Consultants as required
* Assisting with travel and accommodation needs for the team including VISAS as required
* Setting up and co-ordination of all internal meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions
* Typing, producing and amending specific project related documentation and correspondence (proposals, reports, letters, etc.)
* Answering phones, taking clear messages and prioritising
* Meeting, greeting and looking after visitors and clients as required
* Supporting Project Accountants and Consultants with producing project related invoices, handling the process for corporate credit card returns, cash invoices and Consultant expenses, ensuring correct sign off of required documents and invoices etc
* Data entry, maintaining Excel spreadsheets and amending PowerPoint presentations as required
* Providing ad-hoc support to Partners and Project Managers regarding project coordination, research, tracking budgets etc
* Liaison with external clients and contractors on a daily basis
