Electrical Project Engineer vacancy based in Bristol.
The company are one of the top 10 consultancies in power in the UK, providing studies, development, engineering and project management services for power, process and infrastructure projects. Their expertise covers the whole range of power sector projects including; thermal, hydro, renewable energy, and transmission and distribution systems.
They have been operating within the power industry for over 5 decades and have projects running in many locations including Nigeria, Brazil and Indonesia. As a result of an exciting programme of projects they are looking to recruit skilled a Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Bristol.
As the successful candidate you will be an MSc or BSc/BEng, degree qualified Electrical Engineer and ideally be Chartered or working towards Chartership. You will have a background in Project and Design Engineering of power and HV transmission and distribution projects including feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design, site supervision, testing and acceptance.
Having detailed experience in one or more of the following would be an advantage; GIS substation design, protection and control, overhead transmission line design and routing, high voltage cables, HVDC systems, off-shore electrical services.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on high profile projects in today's fast paced and challenging power generation industry.
